forget the sun

there’s no hell
except the dim one
we reveal to others
sedated and lying on broken sheets
night after night
who would have thought
this private adventure
could be so terminal

i’m tired of watering
gardens of chaos
tired of casino remedies
and guilty balance
i’m tired of watching these
desperate playgrounds
toppled with a kiss
tired of glasses
filled with hope
and hesitation
i want fragile brilliance
and invincible passion
with ecstasy
lazy and fearless
under a dangerous sky

dancing in the rain
on skeletons souls
pirates sing
of wandering vibes
while cats in china
and dogs in france
obey wild roses
creation reflects destruction
and sometimes too much
is never enough
