sometimes i wonder if
curses
are nothing more than
cliches
stretched out over time?
we’re all so common,
tired, unaware
and filled with
overused and unoriginal ideas
nothing great comes to those who wait
the grass is dead on the other side
and what doesn’t kill you only makes you crazier
sometimes you just have to
spit on all this absurdity
reject it, crumple it up,
and throw it in the trash
a life littered with fantasies
will leave you lacerated
forget all those peddled novelties
the end comes quicker than expected
so, embrace the here and now
rip open the soul
and compose
artful scenarios
dance with anachronous demons
ask questions with no answers
smile at strangers
and let laughter
see you through this madness
