\nmixed together
\nwith demonic routines
\nand hopeless dreams
\nit’s a discordant song
\nfilled with high notes
\nand low chords<\/p>\n

and i can hear life
\nclawing and scraping
\nagainst a purple moon
\nas we write
\nunholy names
\nand sacred numbers
\nin the shifting sands
\nof decadent manifestation<\/p>\n

anxiety and celestial noise
\nbroadcast in a slow tempo
\nof nervous adventure
\noffering a festive revelation
\nof manic science<\/p>\n

fade in
\nthen fade away
\nwaiting for a drunk messiah
\nto romanticize
\nall our quiet secrets<\/p>\n

the night is tired, comforting
\nand terrifying
\nas solid and insidious hearts
\nare held close
\nagainst a dusty and inverted moon<\/p>\n

and there are swift moments
\nof subtle rebellion and internal ecstasy
\nconflicted and longing
\nfor fluid correction
\nand a psychic promise
\nof melodic transportation<\/p>\n

correction, consecration
\nand corrosive calculation
\ndrive this captured spirit
\ntowards a random, solo
\nand divine dark fall
\nhanging in breathless suspense
\nfor a final
\nand concrete judgment<\/p>\n
