sitting here
\nintoxicated and enraged
\ni feel that our hungry imagination
\nis served up
\nand then severed
\nin this collectivist dream
\ni have a vision(delayed)
\na vision of soul and rejected fate
\nmedicated and unrestricted
\nwhispering decay
\non an imperfect wind<\/p>\n

silently we sit, waiting
\ngathering unpredictable wisdom
\nbalanced on a secular storm
\nkissing a passive level of death
\nas culture cascades
\ninto desperate
\nand majestic revelations
\nof honest deliberation
\nand the lower gods
\nof this solid realm
\nlaugh at our stagnant destinations<\/p>\n

struggling with hopeless addiction
\nand channeling
\nenergies long forgotten
\nbeer me, one more time
\ncuz i’m tired of these
\ndelicate playgrounds
\nmatrix rules
\nand rippled prayers
\nchanted in a frustrated key
\nof fragile sacrifice<\/p>\n

i refuse to comply
\nwith this
\nscattered blue passion
\nand i refuse to submit
\nto these
\ncrescent sweaty souls
\nseeking to sever
\nall our ludicrous comforts
\nwith an industrial shotgun blast
\nfrom the naked apocrypha
\nof yellow human heartbeats<\/p>\n

i want a chance meeting
\nof random passion
\ntainted with disconnected
\nand disconcerted souls
\nstrung together
\nin a dangerous patchwork
\nof schizophrenic enlightenment
\nflesh upon flesh
\nan elaborate touch
\nprophesied in a methodic ecstasy
\nand wrapped in creative emanations
\nof this fixed
\nand fucked up reality<\/p>\n

vain prayers fail
\nas nervous shadows
\nshade and drive us
\nfrom one excess to the next<\/p>\n

perhaps we should embrace
\nthis undigested chaos
\nand reject our inferior fantasies
\nin favor of sounds without symmetry
\nembracing hearts shrouded in illusions
\nof slightly scattered sacrements<\/p>\n

or perhaps we should just sing
\nleisurely songs
\nof poetic laws
\nspilled onto empty pages
\nof sour isolation
\nas quiet flowers
\nform a fantastic conformity
\nof nature’s solitary virtue<\/p>\n
