\nwet august whiskey nights
\nremembering past glories
\nand dreaming of
\nfuture conquests
\nthat will never come to pass
\nflesh succumbs to reason
\nand yesterday and tomorrow
\noffer only a slight contrast
\ngod(s) damn this purple public pendulum<\/p>\n

nothing to gain
\nand nothing to lose
\ni’m tired of these bipolar orgasms
\ni want
\nan insane goddess
\nbroken solutions
\nmatching lyric heartbeats
\npersistent yet lazy
\ni reach for
\npassion
\nin this sea of
\nhopeless humanity
\nholding on to

sometimes i just want to
