\nbut feeling good
\nlips and soul
\nhot, and lost in self control
\ncollide in fantastic amalgamation
\nof anticipation and trepidation
\ntouch and release
\nas forbidden fruit
\ntouched by generic hops
\nstill hold
\na broken and horizontal sway
\nas we swing with black gazes
\nwinding within incomplete mazes
\nand wandering with the promise of
\nsomething different
\nsomething new
\na gentle pause,
\nwait, for one second
\nas we grip this elusive moment
\nand remember old passion made new<\/p>\n

ahahaha, cries in the darkness
\nhow these thoughts
\ncriss cross so
\nhiding and gazing
\non something magical
\nand larger than life
\nas we embrace this
\none small slice
\nof an exotic
\nand private reality
\nand how these passions linger
\nin our confused and stable
\nstiletto life hearts
\ncomplication and mercy
\nohh how we constantly we pierce
\nthis subversive daylight
\nwith our slightly sharpened blades
\nthrusting in and out
\nwaiting for a chance
\nat ecstasy or infamy
\ntesting the waters
\nof unfulfilled desires
\ndangerous and content
\nas lonely dead souls
\nwalk empty streets
\nin hopes of creating
\na new and temporary existence <\/p>\n

i loathe yet slowly embrace
\nthese whiskey dreams
\ncryptic and almost candid
\nbreathless, with a dark and enveloping
\ncontrast
\nreluctantly reveal
\na selective spiritual release
\ni wait for it
\none smile
\nokay, maybe two
\nas eyes connect
\nfuck that hesitation
\na simle resignation
\nslick and silky
\nas smooth words emerge
\nand pulsate
\nwaiting to feel something
\nanything
\njust one more time
\ninconsistent and final
\nin this comfortable
\nand stale construct
\nwe call modern life
