misfit refit
\nliving this chaotic adventure
\nand leaving this curse of
\nheavy attention behind
\ni’m waiting for something divine
\nlingering in a house where nobody lives
\nand dancing through a conscious manipulation of time
\nand i always run
\nin circles of three
\nit’s just simple and sacred geometry
\ndivinity, caressed and corrupted
\nfrom this catatonic catholic upbringing
\ni’m just another hot soul on a cold floor<\/p>\n

i roll with radio ghosts
\nconversing with passive hosts
\nas i strike spare matches
\nto burn complicated emotions
\nfrom this smoking record
\nshould i continue to seek
\nflaming maidens of this
\ninsane and dependent life-force
\nshould i shelter under showers
\nof blissful tragedy
\nor should i fish for selective seasons of passion,
\ndeath and rusty domination
\ntrading destruction for chaos
\nin jungles of salty flesh<\/p>\n

sitting here naked with quiet distractions
\nperpetually intoxicated
\nby this lust for a spiritual half-life
\ni’m sacrificing sleep
\nto the gods of foggy creativity
\nand i’m constantly reminded of
\nthe simple pleasures of the damned
\nwhile i try to rediscover
\nbleeding hearts beating in unison
\nas my black and white eternal kitten
\nwatches me stumble over these
\nlonely, laughing keys
\npassing lyrics back and forth
\nto compete in this infinite hustle
\nit’s a persistent existence
\nfor better or worse
\nwandering along whoring streets
\nand singing songs of
\nlabored redemption<\/p>\n
