sitting on a sidewalk
\nand weaving wilted wraiths
\ni’m running on
\ndrastic levels of sleep
\nso, try not to try
\npretend i’m crazy
\nand you’re sane
\ntake a chance
\nand divide this divine direction
\nas we attempt
\nto capture rare moments
\nof uncontrollable desire
\nand fight small machines
\nin large crowded rooms
\nwill you join me
\nand laugh in the face of disaster<\/p>\n

stability threatens mean fashion
\nand i see
\naccidents of humanity
\nbound in bare focus
\nour exposure is just
\na little off
\nas dangerous creativity
\nburns our lost stars
\nand this unfamiliar terror
\nlingers like a fixed flame
\ni can’t find the moon
\nbut perhaps i’m immune
\nto reality’s tribune
\nluck no longer exists here
\nand is it treason
\nto consider this season
\nnothing more than a tempest
\nof natural lust<\/p>\n

chaos chases smooth beasts
\nand don’t you know
\nthey’re trying to delete us
\nthrough political correctness
\nand digital dependence
\nwhat if we just said no
\nbecause the sum
\nis not greater than the whole
\nin lock-down we look up
\nand see this illusion
\nfor what it is
\nfear forgets the signs
\nbut i know
\nthe tongue that binds
\nand when boredom becomes brilliance
\ndusty words no longer mold
\nharsh moonlit excuses
\nthe old gods will fade
\nand in a brilliant cascade
\nour wandering souls
\nwill finally upgrade<\/p>\n
