laugh it up
\ncuz this whole circus
\nseems so absurd
\nwandering chaotic social feeds
\nand watching humans doing animal tricks
\nas stillborn soldiers and anxious puppets
\nare left green and naked
\nafter an uncomfortable assimilation
\nwe passively engage in
\nlost converstations
\nwith floating question marks
\nas our only answers
\nfiltered portraits and half formed sentences
\ntoo many lines to diffuse
\nso easy to confuse
\nwhen will the shorthand of joined circles
\nreconcile my disbanded attention span?<\/p>\n

what a fucking joke
\nit’s almost too much to comprehend
\nand sometimes my brain moves
\nfaster than my fingers
\nbecause the memories are short
\nbut the characters are long
\ni’m competing with an invisible adversary
\nand i’m wondering
\nhow to complete this filthy night
\nbecause the wine is running low
\nand i can already hear the call
\nof my rough white pillow<\/p>\n

goddamn, it’s going to be another night
\nof starvation and innocuous songs
\ni\u2019ve been here so many time before
\ncaptured by california cats
\nwith buoyant eyes that analyze
\nand carefully memorize
\ninfinite landscapes
\nto render a gentle theme
\ni remember random seasons
\nand the promise of an unpredictable sunrise
\nand sometimes i think
\ni should disembark, wipe the slate clean
\nand settle for a feline romance<\/p>\n

reaching for a short writ,
\nbound by blackened pens
\ni”m tired of limited excitement
\nand sometimes i want to write
\nsleepy adventures
\nwith belief purged
\nunder a blood red moon
\nwith spells woven to swoon
\nthis virtual human cartoon
\nseeking admiration
\nthrough an honest declaration
\nabsent of decoration
\ni’m waiting for an explanation
\nor a final, peaceful expiration<\/p>\n
