I<\/p>\n

spirit surprise
\ncold blue sunrise
\nliving on starvation and secret signals
\nare we just riding rapid waves
\nof liquid sound
\nwrapped in a soft turbulence?
\nhustling quiet letters, into ashen text
\ni wonder what happened to all those words
\nof persistent pagan poetry
\nwas it just a magik mark
\nleft to scar
\ncreative men?
\nand what the hell happened to all those
\ndelicate little flowers
\nlingering in anticipation
\nof a new dawn?<\/p>\n

i find it hard to write lately
\nand i’m sitting here buzzed,
\nwatching the world turn, and burn
\ni’m 43 and still haven’t managed
\nto master this subtle art
\nof majestic word games
\ngambled and often times given away
\nin this parlor of empty reason
\ni’ve tried to be prophetic and simple
\nmaybe i should say something like
\n“black virtue burns brighter than all these false gods”
\nbut whatever, it seems these dreams
\nare slowly melting<\/p>\n

formless and friendless
\ni have little reality to lean on
\nand the world is dying to submerge
\nthis collective consciousness
\nin a silent submission
\nof satirical slavery
\nit saddens me
\nbut what if
\nwe are all unstoppable?
\nwhat if we are all
\ndiametrically opposed gods
\nof a selective eden
\ncarried once and away
\nby a singular simulation
\nonly to return
\nhalf remembered
\nand thirsty for
\npatterns of chaos and chance
\nmemorize these silver songs
\nand perform virgin rituals
\nof chemical communication<\/p>\n

II<\/p>\n

drive away
\nfrom this
\ndomesticated matinee
\ngimme foreplay
\non the freeway
\nhiding halfway
\nbetween this gourmet gateway
\nwill you disobey
\nand come out to play
\nhelping me to write
\na transient screenplay<\/p>\n

i choose cold beer
\nand the hot magick
\nof moments spent in uninterrupted bliss
\nas echoes of passion and insanity
\nconceal truths too dangerous
\nto whisper in polite company
\nso forgive the muddled masses
\nwho embrace and elevate fools
\nmagnify the haggled hermit
\nthat accept the mother’s wisdom
\nnature, natural necessity
\nbeauty isn’t what you think it is
\nbut it is , everywhere
\nif you care to open your third eye
\nrolled in random darkness
\nenergy doesn’t die
\nbut it can be wasted
\nso choose carefully
\nand beware these static libations<\/p>\n

heroes come and go
\nin society’s ridiculous sideshow
\nso fuck this mental limbo
\nbe a magnificent maestro
\nset your soul to a hobo flow
\nand escape this spiritual ghetto
\nforget where you are
\nforget where you’ve been
\nembrace the arrival of an incomplete destiny
\nrules are meant to be broken
\nrevealing two halves
\nof an individual truth
\nso stop seeking and start living
\nsail a sea of cosmic vibrations
\nlet yourself be consumed and recycled
\nand marvel at what emerges
\ndon’t fear the storm
\nbe the storm
\nfor there’s a calm resolution
\non the other side of that uncertain horizon<\/p>\n
