cognitive dissonance<br \/>\nand we must remember<br \/>\nthat sex is death<br \/>\nin the animation of rebirth<br \/>\nand i&#8217;m kissing an elusive girl<br \/>\nwhile lighting fires of<br \/>\nspiritual awakening<br \/>\nand i&#8217;m reminded<br \/>\nthat gold cats are<br \/>\nare obscured by<br \/>\ndivine light<br \/>\nas they bump heads<br \/>\nand love unconditionally<br \/>\nand in this labyrinth of<br \/>\nmixed emotions i carry<br \/>\nguns and abstract poetry<br \/>\nas a defense<br \/>\nagainst sedentary life<br \/>\nwith bursts of chromatic life<br \/>\nas we play this passive aggressive game<br \/>\nof photogenic animation<br \/>\nand pretend to retire<br \/>\nto solitary realms<br \/>\nwith love and distant revelations<br \/>\ntoo far, yet close enough<br \/>\nto warm our gentle souls<br \/>\nso let&#8217;s do it<br \/>\nreach for the sky<br \/>\nin this confused matrix<br \/>\nof disparate connections<br \/>\nas rhythms stray<br \/>\nand lead us to forgotten memories<br \/>\nof higher times<br \/>\nbecause i don&#8217;t wanna die<br \/>\nbut this 9-5 life<br \/>\nis killing me slowly<br \/>\nas i drink and smoke<br \/>\nto escape this warped construct<br \/>\nof normalcy and soft remedy<br \/>\nwaiting and wandering<br \/>\nin hopes of revealing<br \/>\nmelodic truths<br \/>\nthat linger<br \/>\njust beneath the surface<br \/>\nof aged and hardened skin<br \/>\ny&#8217;all\u00a0 just can&#8217;t see<br \/>\nthese hallucinogenic day-dreams<br \/>\nthat repel all our<br \/>\nuncertain visions<br \/>\nof collective daydreams<br \/>\nmanifested in a different world<br \/>\nand procrastination is<br \/>\nthe death of the soul<br \/>\nso i&#8217;ll continue<br \/>\nto drink tequila<br \/>\nplaying with my cats<br \/>\nforgetting all that is real<br
