almost mad
\nwrapped in this
\ndeluxe and lonely fabric
\nit’s been too long
\nof a week
\nand sadly i have few words
\nto write
\ni don’t want to go
\nto work
\nand the weather is
\nalways cold
\nmy laundry is
\npiling up
\nand there’s an abstract temple
\nof dirty dishes on the counter
\ni haven’t showered in two days
\nand i feel
\nold as dirt
\nnot the good dirt
\nthe kind that plants thrive in
\nbut dry dirt
\ndusty and overspent
\nall i want is
\nheathen dances
\nand a wicked promise
\nsoft under a summer’s rain
\nsomething to satisfy
\nthis failed experiment<\/p>\n
