\ntraced along the songs
\nof a tattooed lady with a drum
\nthere’s a fire on the horizon
\nwith white smoke
\nand lonely birds
\nthat refuse to submit
\nto the second wave
\nof this manufactured
\ndark winter<\/p>\n

a good sign perhaps?
\nonly time will tell<\/p>\n

should we follow these
\nhollow dreamcatchers
\nand medicine men
\nthat wander without
\nconcrete solutions?<\/p>\n

i’m tired of all these
\nempty slogans
\nand misguided meditations
\ni just don’t have anymore patience
\nfor whitewashed ignorance
\nor easy intolerance<\/p>\n

with all this turmoil
\nand blind conformity
\ni just want to find
\na peaceful release
\nlive and let live
\nno confrontation
\nno compulsion
\nno conformity
\na sidestep
\ninto spiritual chaos
\nunrestrained<\/p>\n

gimme a moment of focused decay
\ntime away
\nfrom these broken realities
\nand hard routines
\nset upon a salient sun
\nwhy are we always undone?<\/p>\n

i want drums of death
\nset in a soft rhythm
\nto rescue time
\nand write a poetic ending
\nto this beautiful mess<\/p>\n

love without boundaries
\nyou and me
\nholed up in a den
\nof complicated simplicity
\ncomforted by
\nintoxicated understanding
\nand curated with
\nconsistent bursts
\nof compassion and inspiration<\/p>\n

the owl has four eyes
\ntwo in the center
\nand two on the side<\/p>\n

the line comes
\nat the strangest moments
\nand faith is renewed
\nby small actions
\nof singular independence
\nand innocent curiosity<\/p>\n

rules without rulers
\nwill someday be our holy canon<\/p>\n
