\nsedated friday afternoon
\nthe flies are searching for a feast
\nand the leaders of domesticated shit
\ncontinue to tell us

\nthird hand
\nfrom the toilet of god
\nand of course it means nothing

\ni’d rather drink my wine,

\nread my outdated novels,
\nand play with my anarchic cats
\nwhile the rest of the world burns
\nin it’s own insanity

\nthe asylums are now empty
\nintegrated into civil society
\nand sedated
\nby network television
\nand it’s submissive programming
\nsadly, the sheep argue
\nabout their new shepherd
\nand convenient medication
\nis the new god
\nas pop culture
\nembraces the warm caress
\nof simplistic
\nand satanic slavery<\/p>\n

fuck all that
\ni’d rather be an outdated outsider
\nalone, educated and indifferent
\nto the scripted trends that drive
\nmainstream men<\/p>\n

this solitary keyboard

\noffer more freedom
\nthan all the promises
\nof your celebrity matrix
