dreams of yesterday are the madnesses of tomorrow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>yak yak yak<br \/>\nget back<br \/>\ncause i am<br \/>\ntrapped and fat<br \/>\nlying under a purple sun<br \/>\nall this waiting has made me<br \/>\ncome undone<br \/>\nso go now, run and<br \/>\ngrab that gun<br \/>\njust for fun<\/p>\n<p>the battle was set to begin at noon<br \/>\nbut the show was cancelled<br \/>\nin favor of cagey doom<br \/>\nnow and then, circling and starting from the center<br \/>\ni am<br \/>\na borderline case, prophetic<br \/>\nand all over the place<br \/>\nalways bent on some wild goose chase<br \/>\nall the while trying to save face<br \/>\nwith words and missives<br \/>\nall particularly dismissive<br \/>\nso it went, with no forgiveness<br \/>\nthe ritual progressed farther then intended<br \/>\nit was beautiful confusion in bloom<br \/>\nas the signals got blended<br \/>\nand the lines only surfaced when<br \/>\nunneeded or unheeded<br \/>\nwith small victories ceded<br \/>\nto the mistress of the moon<\/p>\n<p>and then he said<br \/>\nwhat the fuck ever<br \/>\ni\u2019ve forgotten my dreams again<br \/>\nand never was i so slow<br \/>\nto shut the window<br \/>\ncurtain calls<br \/>\nand white walls<br \/>\nas the tree falls<br \/>\ntoo many women and<br \/>\ntoo much truth for one day<br \/>\nhollow as it sets in<br \/>\nconsume away<br \/>\nlet us pray<\/p>\n<p>i\u2019ve been waiting awhile<br \/>\nto kill what\u2019s left<br \/>\njust in time<br \/>\nfor<br \/>\nan uneven rhyme<br \/>\nand with poetry<br \/>\nno two words fit<br \/>\ntogether<br \/>\nso often split<\/p>\n<p>we always leave something behind<br \/>\na memento, an excuse<br \/>\na reason to come back<br \/>\nand try<br \/>\none more time<br \/>\nexpansion, exhaustion<br \/>\nso now<br \/>\na moment of silence<br \/>\njust a few keystrokes<br \/>\na well made fan<br \/>\nand the occasional motorist<br \/>\npassing by<br \/>\nthis is morning<br \/>\nand
