“and now it’s done” he said
\nliving like this at 6am
\nstiff neck and dry eyes
\nhow do we continue to endure<\/p>\n

forgive this burning light
\nart can only sustain us so long
\nand the night has it’s own
\ncharms and terrors
\nas saintly stars
\nare muddled by a mistress moon<\/p>\n

“all we have are
\ndeluxe madnesses
\nwrapped in fertile
\nand fragile narratives”<\/p>\n

black cat,
\nwhite dog
\nwandering outdated empires
\nthe future is a conspiracy,
\na creeping frequency
\nwaiting for graveyard guns
\nto salute these seasonal spies<\/p>\n

drinking wine
\nand teasing passion
\nwet, with silent and graceful steps
\nwe are mysterious and
\nwritten on bodies
\nof naked intent
\nwaiting once again
\nfor the first time
\nto shatter temples
\nof singular serenity<\/p>\n

caricature of a war alias
\npause before the trial,
\nanticipate conquest
\nas you embrace the spirit
\nof playful resistance
\nand then subdued,
\nlying still in the arms of defeat,
\na minute of smooth nothingness<\/p>\n

life is short
\nand the song always ends the same
\necstatic in the glow of
\npermanent
\nand bottomless
\nbeer driven fantasies
\nthese nights are littered
\nwith tired rituals
\nand there’s really no rest
\nas
\nsoft heats stutter
\nin an empty gutter
\nwhile fools chase
\nan eternal serpent<\/p>\n

staring at love,
\nreleased in dusty grandeur
\nthe feral whispers
\nof blind barbarians
\nremind us
\nof a soulless peace<\/p>\n

forget this poet parasite,
\nsummers fade
\nas words guide the blade
\nand we aimlessly search
\nfor another elusive moment of truth<\/p>\n

\u201call we have
\nis chaos and stability,
\nsnapshots of tragedy and victory
\nin this comedy of seers\u201d<\/p>\n

he was a good man
\nsomewhat sad
\nand dead
\nbefore his time<\/p>\n
