\nit’s just one more
\npointless preparation
\ntowards another ordinary day
\ni’m already over tomorrow
\ngimme cat eye dreams
\nroaming with no purpose
\nexcept for the beautiful thrill
\nof some
\nunknown
\nand
\nundiscovered
\nadventure<\/p>\n

we are empty souls
\nwith full bellies
\njust scribes in the desert
\nheld under careful discretion
\nsearching for the mysteries of
\nlove and death
\nunder a ferocious and antiquated moon
\nrunning within the rule of runes
\nsplit by two
\nhow do we cure
\nthis cognitive pollution?
\nperhaps, with an abstract solution
\nof tin can realities<\/p>\n

streaming through conductive,
\nand semi-productive
\nmembranes
\nwe are
\nwaiting on
\ntime clock signs
\nand yellow flower vibes
\nas backward pages sing
\nunknown songs of
\nrapacious relief<\/p>\n

touch the earth and divide the sky
\nthe spy is high
\nas we try to declassify
\nsecrets of the sacred firefly<\/p>\n

one, two
\nimpromptu
\nbreakthrough<\/p>\n

the cigarette continues to burn
\nand the pen struggles to scrawl
\nas inanimate objects brawl
\nwith words and visions,
\nobscure divisions
\nof lines
\ndying on dehydrated vines
\njust one more
\nincomplete destiny
\nstrung up or strung out
\nwith neon butterflies
\nresting on the integrity
\nof park bench dreams<\/p>\n

should we submit
\nto these hollow regimes
\nor should we run wild
\ninto the poetry
\nand poverty
\nof elven extremes?<\/p>\n

the rules of the sun
\nare penned just for fun
\nand the diameter of one
\nis equaled to
\ntwisted tales spun
\nas midnight ropes
\nsuspend our dreams and hopes<\/p>\n

embrace the ministry
\nof unholy chemistry
\nhow simple it is
\nto be the tree
\nlost in a satanic symmetry
\nof dissident idolatry<\/p>\n

i heard the shaman say
\non a poetic tuesday
\nhow we should gather and pray
\nto the green goddess
\nbefore we play<\/p>\n

too many memories sold
\nas this humble hermit
\nspends beer filled nights
\ncracking the code
\nof another unscripted download<\/p>\n
