\nobscene moments
\nhidden in rhyme<\/p>\n

draped in rituals of an artificial kiss
\nanonymous masks shine best
\nunder pale street lights of vague intent<\/p>\n

i’ve walked for seven years
\nthrough a desert of
\ndubious daisy-chains
\nconquered and committed
\nto a false image of love<\/p>\n

dizzy in the fury of subdued chemistry
\npirate souls glow
\nas euphoric fires burn low
\ntempting the gods
\nand demanding peace<\/p>\n

anticipation
\nand tired temptation
\nshould we surrender
\nto this conditioned equation
\ndisavowed daily
\nhow long can we pacify
\nthis hungry solicitation ?<\/p>\n
