settled down
\nand drinking in
\nthis insane light
\ntoo much time
\nis spent on
\ndecomposing dreams
\nripped from faustian seams<\/p>\n

riding the ghostly terror
\nof break beats
\nas savage sheets
\nsometimes lonely
\nother times dirty,
\nwrapped in a rapid rhythm
\nbeg for machine souls
\nand reach for
\na skinny white fury<\/p>\n

metal vice and blissful sin
\ngrin, at what might have been
\nnovels of crazy destiny
\nare written in drastic desperation
\nwashing away these hungry smiles
\nas we are
\ncaptured by shiny claws
\nand chewed with the rusty jaws
\nof our autistic ancestors<\/p>\n

waiting for restitution
\nwe trade
\ncandle light artists
\nfor flashy stars
\nin hollow suits
\nand pacifist preachers
\nfor artificial pirates
\nwith top hats and shabby shoes<\/p>\n

intrigue burns
\nas prophets and paralyzation
\noperating within
\npointless perfection
\nare pre-programmed with a
\npicture perfect deception
\nhow many nights can we worship
\nthese dead traditions<\/p>\n

unbalanced by reality
\nmost days
\nwe almost have the answer
\nbut unkind, we unwind
\nand do things
\nin a different way
\ncastaway
\nwe don’t fit in
\nwe just fit
\nloosely
\ninto this world
\nof calculated disorder<\/p>\n

moonlight spills quiet inspiration
\nas white cats
\nand black notebooks
\ndrive me toward
\nsnapshots of luxurious chaos<\/p>\n

poems written but never read
\nrattle inside this dead head
\nfed and bled, we shed
\nrusty personalities
\nnestled in an uncertain time
\nwe stay close to the line
\nand the universe smiles
\nas we accommodate
\nbroken equations of chance<\/p>\n
