eternity speaks with closed lips
\nriding black upon a blessed sunset
\ncaptivated and capitulating
\ntowards steps of
\ncertain disgrace
\nwe watch
\nmetal misfits
\nwrapped in blissful sin
\ncall upon the shadows
\nto catalogue the cadence
\nof another beer drenched night<\/p>\n

sliding across dark daggers
\nwe consecrate this
\nmental vice
\nin place of
\npointless virtue
\nas the gods grant us
\nghosts of blue animation
\nand the servants
\nbecome the masters<\/p>\n

forget the morning
\nwhen gardens are bombed
\nin the name of empty beauty
\nthe fruit flies fly,
\nthe sparrows eat mad dreams,
\nand the serpents,
\ncoiled in unrepentant unison
\nsacrifice sanity to sleep<\/p>\n

devoid of deductive declarations,
\nhow long can this performance last?<\/p>\n
