midnight flesh
\nis eaten by
\ndull humanity
\nas i sit
\nwith engineers
\nof lonely decadence
\nplaying out
\ndented trash can dreams
\nand sing to flowers
\nthat refuse to bloom<\/p>\n

ruled by moments of
\nyesterday’s voodoo
\nand running the race in reverse
\nwe are stopped
\njust short of victory<\/p>\n

drunk on
\ncomfortable excess
\nthe strongest cage
\nis the one
\nyou can’t see<\/p>\n
