watching the heavy hands
\nof a corrosive clock
\nare we speaking
\nrevolution or resolution<\/p>\n

pennies for princes
\nand prisons for peasants
\nis it the end of the world
\nor just the end of another black notebook<\/p>\n

watching advertisements from hell,
\nthese reluctant antibodies,
\nare fed up with gentle agony
\ncaught between the first and the last
\nobscene arrivals
\nthe socks are grey
\nand the fly
\nis always
\nalone<\/p>\n

walking amidst roads of social unrest
\nparables and paradoxes,
\nbroken like old toys
\nwaiting for glue,
\nare kept in android harmony<\/p>\n

soft screen education,
\nhas it really been
\na quarter century
\nsince we last tasted mercy?<\/p>\n

perched blissfully on the edge of reason
\nlayers of backseat biofeedback
\nfloat in hours of entropy
\nas sound waves are estranged
\nand smiles concealed,
\nare served under lavender eyes<\/p>\n

indian hue, and
\nshabby curb individuals
\ndo you remember the traffic
\nof sidewalk art?<\/p>\n

philosopher eyes killing this random dystopia
\nno one stirs now
\namong this
\noccult adulation
\nwaiting to escape
\nand scheming so well
\nthe streets are dead
\nas vampire vibes
\nsignal the end<\/p>\n

soul chips and binary bolts
\nbonded to a new body,
\nreflect shades of another scrawny beast<\/p>\n

late, we translate
\nfate, and negate
\nthe shackles of
\nan indifferent god\u2019s slavery
\nas satan lurks in the sunset
\novergrown,
\nand reaching for something
\nless than zero<\/p>\n

red and black
\nblack and yellow
\nslipstream freedom
\ngripped in an orgasm of subtle fury
\nsleep in a symphony of madness
\nand shake loose from this smokescreen division<\/p>\n

atomic nightclub
\nstewing in another stalled apocalypse
\nthere is sorcery in this scenery
\ncan you see
\nhow artificial lights
\nburns the breath
\nof a thousand
\ncatholic mistresses<\/p>\n

sleeping with the birds
\nmanic, malevolent,
\nand aroused
\ni rise
\nto another faulty
\nand obsolete occasion<\/p>\n
