\ncarelessly spent
\nand sent to teach
\nempty in the dim light we preach
\noversight and overwrite
\nletters to excite
\npale faces, under percussive moonlight<\/p>\n

madmen think they have become gods
\nbut they are at odds with spiritual mods
\nand sleepy children know different<\/p>\n

crack the books, slam!
\ni’m tired of these long-dead jams
\nsentient scams
\ntired of these lingering holograms<\/p>\n

dueling with doctor divine
\ndrinking obscene wine to rhyme
\nfeeling no presence in time
\nas homemade nurses
\ninvoke delicate versus
\nto drive away
\nthese machiavellian curses<\/p>\n

busy chasing machine gun doves
\nas fatigued fools make money
\nin the house of love
\nwe can wait no longer
\nfor wandering whispers from above<\/p>\n

observing sinful signs
\nand blind bonds that bind
\nthis absent mind
\nwell defined, consigned,
\ndeclined, and left behind<\/p>\n

complex heart, robot embrace
\ncaught between interface and database
\nslow the pace, retire to a quiet place
\nand remember that captivating face<\/p>\n

hungry for a curious and lazy dance
\ni remember the ghost of summer\u2019s romance
\nstop! sidestep and enhance
\nreshape this autumn fire trance<\/p>\n

lsd promise, hide and seek
\ndivine the mind\u2019s eye and weep
\nslip and let the truth creep
\ncast science as a ritual technique
\nspeak in dark tongues
\nwith white hot mystique
\nvisit the moon
\nand become the freak<\/p>\n

deluxe transition
\nartistic inquisition
\nspiritual composition
\nlying upon quiet hills
\nwe decompose
\nto feed washed out rainbows
\nand expose saint-less shadows<\/p>\n

hocus pocus, fluid focus
\nwatching crows on the snow
\nspeak with white voices
\nthat echo in black casinos<\/p>\n

earth artist skill
\nshaped and shifted to thrill
\nblood money, sour honey
\nit\u2019s time to redefine
\nthis cultural design
\nas cat eyes shine
\nbyzantine and borderline
\nacross a surreptitious timeline<\/p>\n

beware the bewildered beast
\nwe’ve prepared a shallow feast
\nin the wintry northeast
\nfor heroes long deceased<\/p>\n

perhaps it’s a mindless song
\ninhaled from a missionary bong
\nhead-strong heart-gong
\nso long<\/p>\n

misplaced by a poet’s beat
\nmisspelled muscles nearly retreat
\nwriting misunderstood feats
\nbackseat, backstreet
\nmiscalculated and dancing to karma\u2019s drumbeat
\nwrite me wrong and then delete
\nfor the circle is almost complete<\/p>\n
