nervous eyes move slow past the poet photo
\nit’s 12am and already my stomach feels disturbed
\nfriday nights kill more men than cancer
\ni’m looking for a clean chaos
\na lazy green fire
\nto burn away this culture of sleep<\/p>\n

what are the words that will make us whole?
\nselection, submission
\ninsurrection, hungry intermission<\/p>\n

brass knuckle preacher
\ngive me the word
\nand practice fluid creation
\nas we stumble towards another
\nnew year of old school transition<\/p>\n

maleficent miracle
\ncome on in
\nand light these eyes
\nwith wholesale destruction
\ncome on in
\nand wet these lips
\nwith a slippery eclipse<\/p>\n

come one, come all
\nstrip the soul and behold
\nthis secret sacrificial sideshow
\nfrom a triumphant scarecrow
\nwatch me fold this piece of paper
\nas i shape it like a sectarian ship
\nbound for uncertain shores
\nopened, it reveals
\nnothing and everything
\ntrue to this autistic persona<\/p>\n

no doubt, breakout
\nshaping and shifting
\na sharp, elaborate tongue
\nwhile dancing with maliferous maidens
\nthat equal flesh
\ndrunk in the melancholic moonlight air
\nchallenge the fall
\nand promise a radient ceiling
\nlittered with delicate traditions of heaven<\/p>\n

captured by a dangerous cadence
\nquick and insidious
\nwe reach for clouded deities
\nunder an accidental union
\nand sleep with dangerous knowledge
\nsecure in righteous memory<\/p>\n

writing in reverse
\nwhite phrases eat weird poetry
\nand we are left with empty beer cans
\nand naked frail bodies
\nas the clocks continues to tick
\nit fateful, fruitious hour
\nshould we leave behind
\nthis decade full of holes
\nas we cast one more rune
\nto settle the score?<\/p>\n

anxious ancestors crawl across
\nthe complex, corrupted alters of man
\ncrows on the snow
\nthere’s a thousand faces
\nwith names we’ll never know
\nit makes me want to walk through
\nrandom gardens and explosive cites<\/p>\n

blue white sky,
\nsitting on a purple daybreak
\nthere is no simple language
\nlife is comprised of spells, incantations,
\nand secular vibrations<\/p>\n

so scatter circles of discord,
\nhurt, and reluctant redemption
\nall this random energy
\ncycles towards
\na drunk and beautiful treason
\na season, of small feats
\nand cats in harmony<\/p>\n

slow push, pound the storm
\nas obscure and obscene features
\npurge an indifferent offering
\nand the gypsies, the druids
\nthe shamans, the priests
\nhold court beneath a silver canopy of oily rain<\/p>\n

spirit police channel cut memories
\nas a white witch dances
\nunder a black solstice
\nbare the bones and summon the smoke
\nconsume the holy spice,
\nmystic music, and decadent light
\nchalk urban mysteries on sacrificial sidewalks
\nthe stars are closer than poster dreams at midnight
\nnow as a grateful evening descends,
\nfeel the electric embrace
\nas we jump to the rhythm of
\ngreen girls on the move<\/p>\n

holding hands under the flash
\nof a fertile salamander moon
\nwe could ratify this raven revolution<\/p>\n

the eve has already past
\nso dance along brown paths
\nand make love
\nin one final repose
\nof human inquisition<\/p>\n

solid shadows burn
\nthe final fruits of yesterday
\nas we consecrate chemistry of tomorrow<\/p>\n

the end is never good
\nbut with a little magic
\nand a lot of luck
\nthe sunrise could sever
\nthese turbulent chords
\nrevealing purple pastimes
\nof peaceful departure
