blood art
\ni am he
\none who is
\nwritten in opulence
\nspitting handcrafted verses
\ncousin to loki
\na mediocre man of mystery
\na hero in decline<\/p>\n

slow to reason
\nas hollow headlights
\nframe this passing despair
\nblank as a mutant stare
\ntime drips slow
\nlike freezing water
\nwaiting to become something new
\nas i decide to renew
\nor discontinue
\nthese soft unspoken melodies<\/p>\n

run from the red sun
\ni have this big black beating heart
\nbut just because it’s black
\ndoesn’t mean it’s dark
\nmore wounded than some
\nbut not as much as others
\ni’m sometimes gripped by too much emotion
\ni could lie down in a field with you and die
\nor perpetuate a reminiscent revolution<\/p>\n

snowman touch
\nfire in the eyes of night
\ni’m rewritten and rewired
\ndrinking, dancing, fucking
\nwaiting for another macerated morning<\/p>\n

\nwaning under a boss moon
\ni’m a cat (on the prowl)
\ni’m a bird (of prey)
\nlost one minute
\nand found the next<\/p>\n

juicy mind
\nwith a thousand reckless words
\ni’m not a poet, not really
\ni’m just a tired guy
\ncasting words upon the wind
\nand dreaming of the balance
\nof misfit angels in bliss<\/p>\n
