\nas tepid angels spit fire
\nfrom cornfed eyes
\nwailing against
\na brilliant october sky<\/p>\n

no rhythm
\npreaching dark magic
\nin the light of lust
\nsatan slurs his speech
\nwhen he drinks with me<\/p>\n

no tools, subtle fools
\ntoo many rules
\ni can almost smell the scent of
\nfresh coffee death
\nas we weep a wild winter
\nconfused in the morning
\nconfused in the evening
\nthe future is known
\nand unknown all at once<\/p>\n

no encryption
\nno mistake
\nlate
\nfate delivered
\na fresh basket case
\nwrapped in the wrong war
\nbullet holes decorate city hall
\nas an anarchic alarm clock
\nwhispers r(E)volution in an empty field<\/p>\n

the reflection of obsession hints at
\nobscene confession<\/p>\n

no absolution
\nlow resolution
\nempty institutions
\nas split personalities preach pacifism
\nin the gentle night<\/p>\n

i\u2019m waiting for the moon to kiss the sun
\nas fashionable patriots
\nconspire to kill us slowly
\nand the cops are crazier than the criminals<\/p>\n

no curfew
\ni made a pact
\nwith the ghost of a killer
\nand now
\ni am
\na new man
\nremembering
\nan old body<\/p>\n

forget the recipes of disaster
\nyou once concocted
\nin the purple graveyard morning<\/p>\n

one more beer
\nyou have one more chance
\nto sip a blood tear
\nin the violent hemisphere
\nof
\ncreative destruction<\/p>\n

silver box and a black cat<\/p>\n

no truth
\nno lies
\nno youth
\nno replies<\/p>\n

no locks
\njust a
\nblack box,
\nold rocks
