\nlonely and infinite desire
\nas curious women come to share
\na sundry wildfire
\nand crusades are cinched
\nunder the disorder
\nof a cosmic passion’s empire<\/p>\n

pet poet, wrapped in cloud forms
\nand waiting for a silent ovation
\nas the american spirit is casually
\nnaturalized and neutralized
\nin the tactical profession of night<\/p>\n

pet poet, undone
\nperfectly flawed
\nand imperatively enchanting
\nranting and racing against the moon
\nas one estranged star grips the next<\/p>\n

pet poet, afterlife majority
\na sunset seniority
\nhe drinks within a circle of stars
\ndancing off beat
\nwith the mad mages of mars
\nvicious and surreptitious
\nfictitious, delicious
\nunseasoned and too slanted to die<\/p>\n

pet poet, a specter split
\nwith catatonic cat eyes
\nmarking time
\nas metal melodies shuffle
\nthrough an evening brain
\narcane rain, no time to train
\nthis indefinite pain<\/p>\n

pet poet, middle aged
\ninvisible cage
\nrampage
\noutraged, upstaged
\ndisengaged<\/p>\n

pet poet, balanced
\non square feet
\ntraveling up and down
\nprostrated roads
\nobsolete
\nindiscreet drumbeat
\nwaiting to delete
\nan overgrown heartbeat<\/p>\n

pet poet, fading
\nand unforgiven
\nghosted
\nby seven maidens hosted
\nhe’s standing on swollen notebooks
\nwith anorexic pens
\ncats may have nine lives
\nbut every dog has it’s day
\npet poet
\nthe forest remembers every flower
