\nfull of LSD fueled fantasies
\nand a paper bag
\nfull of
\npandemoniac poems<\/p>\n

i have
\nold things
\nuseful in their
\nobsolesces
\ntoo many computers
\nworn shoes
\nguns, swords, and knives
\ntee shirts and ripped jeans
\nspent candles
\nand dishes from 1969<\/p>\n

more books than i can read
\ncats and dogs
\nsurvival gear
\nbills that pile high
\nand collect dust
\na car
\nthat’s barley held up
\na garage
\nthat’s falling down
\nand a
\nbackyard jungle sanctuary<\/p>\n

i have
\na few
\nfriends
\nand a little
\nlove<\/p>\n

i work
\nand i pretend
\ni’m not a slave
\ni hate cops
\nand i
\nresist the trends<\/p>\n

i smoke
\ni drink
\ni fuck<\/p>\n

i wait for the (r)Evolution<\/p>\n

i wear my halo
\ncocked to one side
\nand my wings are a bit scabbed<\/p>\n

i meditate
\nwhen i can
\nand i
\nplay at
\nembracing
\nthe mad poet<\/p>\n

i pretend i’m
\nimmortal
\nand
\nwith no effort
\ni romanticize
\ndysfunction<\/p>\n
