men and women
\nwith voices that are
\nrobotic and labored
\nblasted days
\ncats and dogs
\nwaiting for
\nblue skies and brown water
\ni’ve got no time for work
\nit’s the end of summer
\nand this life is ART
\nsomething or someone
\nis waiting for me
\non the other side of absent memory
\nbut sometimes i feel
\nwasted<\/p>\n

wasted by passive time
\nbecause clocks are circles
\nin sync with the flow of misinformation<\/p>\n

wasted by hollow fears
\nand lossless tears
\nwasted by self inflicted corruption
\nand unending consumption<\/p>\n

wasted like overfed fools
\nwasted by perceptions skewed
\nwasted skills, and wasted knowledge
\nwasted honesty, and
\nwasted courage
\nwasted language
\nwasted by a poem that refuses to come<\/p>\n

wasted money
\nand wasted sanity
\nwasted deliberation
\nand wasted by vanity<\/p>\n

wasted love
\nand wasted by hate
\nanger mixed with fate
\ncontemplate and ejaculate
\nsomehow always just a little late<\/p>\n

wasted sex
\nwasted sleep
\ncheap, creep
\nread em and weep<\/p>\n

wasted truth and wasted lies
\nwasted rhythm, destabilize<\/p>\n

wasted wasted wasted
\nmusic and medication
\nwasted dedication<\/p>\n

wasted systems
\nthat always fail
\nblackmail
\nslowly we inhale
\nanxiety
\nand impale
\nrejection<\/p>\n

wasted symbols
\nand wasted strangers<\/p>\n

wasted like plastic
\nwasted like dirt
\nshallow effort
\nintrovert
\nwasted convert
\nalert and unhurt<\/p>\n

wasted like a red lighter
\nunder the fold
\nforetold and resold<\/p>\n

wasted where spirit meets the flesh
\nwasted, cause i’m no superstar
\ni’m just a green man
\nwith an ordinary burden
\nand wasted, i have tasted
\nthat which i can never forget<\/p>\n
