manual simulation (or was it stimulation?)
\nthe quiet kills me carelessly
\nas the constant blur of
\nfans in erratic harmony
\npermeates the stillness
\nof another forgotten night<\/p>\n

under an almost full moon
\ni watch
\na tired dog
\nand lazy cat
\nfrom the corner of stilled oblivion
\nsoftly, they romanticize futility<\/p>\n

listen to the golden tumor
\nlaced with
\nbroken beats
\nof another misplaced melody
\nfelled by karma, pride
\nand too many sleepless nights
\ni sit and sip
\nformless winds and harsh wine
\nperpetually washed away
\nwarring with an unseen warden of time<\/p>\n

this temple is almost spent
\nand i lament
\nthe younger days of rome<\/p>\n

capped in a lotus pose
\nas a shadow falls behind me
\ni’m waiting for the grass to grow
\nwaiting for the word
\nwaiting, for this restless traffic
\nto compose another fateful chorus<\/p>\n

morning breaks, and
\nthis routine is ramshackle
\ni’m\u00a0hijacked and handicapped
\nstrolling through disputed communes
\nuncensored, unedited and unexcited<\/p>\n

seeking a place to retire,
\nthis moment feels like
\na departure
\na sacrificial salute
\nto the salvation of
\nold madnesses
\nmade new<\/p>\n

complex
\ncortex
\ncodex
\nreflex
\nsoul-side
\nannex<\/p>\n

too emotional
\ntoo much deliberation
\ntoo much….
\nof everything<\/p>\n

watching with nervous eyes of
\nhesitation
\nthis cryptic embrace spells
\ntemptation
\nmixed with a final release that’s lost in
\nassimilation<\/p>\n

forget this dangerous game
\ni’m searching for just one smile
\na smile that could
\nlight this whole damn town on fire<\/p>\n

charged and disrupted
\nin the defective hours of daybreak
\ni ponder the mysteries of natural sin
\nwondering when absent lovers will coalesce
\nand strike their immortal pose
