mechanically driven
\nby obsolete living
\nwatching fleshy robots gather
\nin a cartoon circle
\nto celebrate
\nthe culture of apocalypse
\nno heroes
\njust stagnant rituals
\nfull of ones and zeroes<\/p>\n

with nowhere to go
\nwe are eaten alive
\nby evening walls
\nstaring and waiting
\nto be reborn against a midnight sun<\/p>\n

centered nowhere
\nwith heads exploding
\nin the morning masterpiece
\nwe are caught in a web
\nof alternate realities
\nchoosing strands of silence
\nin opposition to infamy<\/p>\n

tired and resting beside a purple goddess
\nlost in the sabbath of summer eyes
\nwe walk roads of terror
\nand tactical ecstasy
\nseeking old signs and new energies
\nit’s tactile telemetry
\nas we solicit illicit fantasies
\nfalling together
\nwith fated fascination
\nso close yet so distant
\nis one touch too much?
\ndying, a little at a time
\nas green eyes reside outside time
\nand i just can’t see no love on the horizon<\/p>\n

so i call out
\nto the poet gangster
\nfast and regal
\nforeshadowing mysteries
\nbeyond a broken door
\nand broadcasting a violet truth,
\nplease good sir
\ngrant me one last discovery
\nto balance this melodramatic psychosis<\/p>\n

the world is dishonest
\nand denial of fate
\nleads to such cruel ironies
\nare we searching for angels
\nor searching for devils
\nsearching for purpose
\nor searching for peace
\nare we searching for each other?<\/p>\n

what happened to the minute man?
\ni fear that the king has cried false glory
\none too many times
\nsitting in a padded chair
\ntrapped and captivated
\nby lonely a restraint
\nthat breeds indefinite retribution
\nis this hell or transformation<\/p>\n

life like a demo tape
\nthe beat, the beat keeps changing
\nalternating with the color of emotion
\nit\u2019s an epic, shifting with each movement
\nremember the night songs
\nvisions in black harmony
\nlaced with impulses of immortality
\nwith each passing heartbeat
\nthe rhythm recedes and resurfaces
\nigniting another dangerous flame<\/p>\n

addiction and submission
\ngive me that sweet darkness
\nand compose these lows
\nin a swarm of wide eyed crows
\nhow long before desire renders me insane<\/p>\n

passion divined
\nreplenish, relinquish control
\nand follow that precarious tone
\nas style reaches like a poor man
\nstruggling towards perfection<\/p>\n

carbon chemicals conglomerate
\nstiff and unable to resist
\nyet capsized by callous memories
\nand then
\nanother moment takes hold
\nsoft and different
\nembraced by creeping consonance
\ntugging in unison
\nit’s a dance of duality and opposition
\nstripped of all ceremony
\nand marching me toward the legacy of your soul<\/p>\n
