papier-m\u00e2ach\u00e9 mornings
\nwhen does god smile?
\nsitting among tombstones
\ni can’t see angels anymore
\nand i hear calculated devils
\nlaughing in the distance<\/p>\n

dreams of black space
\nno sound to taste
\nrobbed of all sadness
\ni’m staring through dark eyes, kind
\nwith just a little too much soul<\/p>\n

directed energies penetrating
\nneon signs of ragtime raindrops
\nwaiting for something new
\nwaiting like glue
\nloosely holding together at the seams
\nfilled with dreams
\nof mushroom fantasies
\nwaiting for a flash of
\ninspiration
\nto deter deterioration
\ndilation, narration
\nsegregation, negotiation<\/p>\n

i’m a child philosopher king in exile
\narchetypes lost
\nand i’m unsure how to compose this new path
\ncursive mind in printed hand
\nmissing word, resistance
\nsometimes words reveal too little
\nand other times, too much<\/p>\n

silent, distressed
\nenthralled and obsessed
\ndying in service to
\nroutines of reanimated rhythms
\nwhen sunset calls we are just
\ntragic villains
\nwaiting for a unique sunrise
\nto be reborn as
\nrusty heroes<\/p>\n

rumination, hungry complication
\nno longer a machine, maceration
\nto feel destruction and creation
\nin a single breath
\nto touch a soft patch of earth
\nand remember the scent
\nof fermentation<\/p>\n

tidied up and tied down
\nbound
\nto infinite pleasure
\ni want to dream your visions
\ndifferent light
\na different kind of passion
\na different kind of death<\/p>\n

good, evil, and in between
\nsurfing silver hills
\nand soaring in the summertime prose
\nas a new fever breaks
\nbackstage, old age, mirror mage
\nthe squares are set in tropic pairs
\nit’s a schizophrenic adventure
\nas an old child seeks a new law
\nand the revolution goes unnoticed<\/p>\n

inverted sex
\nholy hex
\nwe speak the ancient language
\nin a vibrant, yet subtle fashion
\nto expose the beauty of night
\nand this process is a procession
\ninto the end of madness
\nas the unseen masses
\nwait restlessly to hear our story<\/p>\n

observation, alteration
\ncome and find us
\nis it now time
\nto become the art?<\/p>\n

the conditions of this parole are set
\nby playful women and fearsome spirits
\nso, let us pray
\nonce more
\nas a conspiratorial coven of cats
\nconvene with the gods<\/p>\n
