we are confined
\nby signs that bind
\nin and out of time
\nto perpetually remind
\nof how hearts and minds
\nare slowly redefined<\/p>\n

exclamation
\nexperimentation
\ndivine interpretation<\/p>\n

sitting on cold bottomed dreams
\nmapped along maleficent mornings
\ni\u2019ve already forgotten the line<\/p>\n

dictation
\nannotation
\neccentric equation<\/p>\n

with repetition
\nand no recognition
\nwe magnify the malice
\nof metal in the morning
\nduped and derived from
\na sassy spell<\/p>\n

alteration
\nconfiguration
\nmutated manifestation<\/p>\n

no poetry today
\njust six bells
\nand a renovated dawn
\nto signal the salvage
\nof sapient souls
\nsold once more<\/p>\n

dilatation
\nhallucination
\nfaceless fragmentation<\/p>\n

awaken to a rusty metaphor
\nand a silk mentor
\nwho sells small books<\/p>\n

temptation
\npersonification
\nraucous reclamation<\/p>\n

summer set the tone to autumn
\nwith drugs
\nand a circle of
\ndreams within dreams<\/p>\n

imitation
\ninvitation
\nincomplete assassination<\/p>\n

the cycle has yet to be broken
\nand these rhymes
\nare made up\u00a0 in real time
\nso many odd little tokens<\/p>\n

calculation
\ncessation
\ncapitulation<\/p>\n

liberals got no guns
\nand conservatives got no love
\nwe need more
\nlove and guns
\nguns and love
\nwhat a perfect world
\nand now
\nwaiting for
\nanother forgotten moment
\nsometimes i can\u2019t spell
\nor quell
\nthis mundane routine<\/p>\n

it\u2019s all
\nilliterate alliteration
\nand the flood is coming<\/p>\n
