march
\nto the clockwork motion of
\ntyrants
\nbended beneath the subtlety
\nof oblique oppression
\nas a bloody orange ball
\nclimbs over the horizon
\none final time<\/p>\n

negated notion
\nwith broken toys
\nand decadent decoys
\nwe drug the cynic
\nwhile lurking amidst the bottom firewall
\nof babylon\u2019s false grandeur<\/p>\n

homegrown drones
\nsent from
\novergrown
\ndeath crones
\nohh how they seek to
\nspy the sacramental hour<\/p>\n

defunct and
\nsettled in the solitary sounds
\nof no success
\neternity\u2019s gaze seems
\nsomehow shorter now
\nas i sit and drink in
\nanother faded and frugal monday<\/p>\n

high above the absent ashes
\nof yesterday\u2019s screams
\nwe disseminate deadly daydreams
\nspeaking sparkling riddles
\nand late prophecies
\nto imaginary friends<\/p>\n

no retreat set to repeat<\/p>\n

as violated vegetable valor,
\nvicarious in it\u2019s virtue
\nis validated and vacated
\nwithin the background world<\/p>\n

listless
\nas the days swell
\nsilent among a stainless spell
\nwe follow a generic infidel
\nseeking to dispel
\nmajestic moments of nothing<\/p>\n

with dreams like copper toothpaste
\nwe wake in repetitive harmony
\ndancing like prosaic misfits
\nto an all too familiar tune<\/p>\n

mesmerize
\ncontract and cannibalize
\nuseless institutions
\nwe will destabilize
\nand sanitize
\nwith
\nrevenant creation
\nand
\nnervous exaltation
\nas we weep
\nstutter, and creep
\ntowards confident uncertainty<\/p>\n

the karma bums missed the morning minute
\ndon\u2019t talk to me about world peace or cancer
\nshe said, as her lips shaped saturated symbols
\nupon the empty space between us and them
\nand now
\npreaching on a pile of shit
\nwe
\nslant, chant, and rant
\nnever to recant<\/p>\n
