\nor perhaps it was
\nancient curses?<\/p>\n

reluctantly recounting
\nan infinite collection
\ntrailing the blood of
\nimminent rejection
\nin quiet insurrection
\nonly to embrace
\nthis uneven connection<\/p>\n

caught in a digital
\nbliss
\nwaiting for that final
\nkiss
\nhow to excite
\nthis lonely parasite
\nas
\nwet lips
\neclipse
\nself imposed
\ndictatorships
\nleading to a glorious
\napocalypse<\/p>\n

delayed
\nignition
\ninflamed
\ncognition
\nwe consume
\nharsh beats
\nand retreat
\ninto salted sheets
\nspread thin between
\ndecadent streets<\/p>\n

mid-night
\nvisions
\ntall order
\ndecisions
\nredoubled
\nrevisions
\nwritten on blank
\ntelevisions<\/p>\n

halcyon fires burn best
\nwhen lying in wait<\/p>\n

caught in a
\nselective collective
\nsearching endlessly like a
\nretrospective detective<\/p>\n

we are
\nhexed
\nand somewhat
\nvexed
\nbut still we carry on
\nsmiling
\non this cat daddy
