wake up!
\nclocked in again
\nas a golden fog
\nis draped upon the morning
\nit\u2019s an almost….winter haze
\nas saturday\u2019s silver lining
\nis shrouded and self-serviced
\nin the shocked and deadlocked
\nsaber tooth sabbath<\/p>\n

too much stuff
\nphallus of longevity
\nstiff
\nwith links and bookmarks
\nas distant notes are
\nlashed together
\nin a labored tempo
\nand sentient synthesizers are
\nrobed in black wisdom
\nrevealing unstable half truths<\/p>\n

grey-green hues laid against
\nwhite templates
\nun-absorbed as we infuse
\nsight and sound
\ncavorting with an unholy muse
\nunbound
\ni cite incomplete sentences
\nwith decay as a sign of release<\/p>\n

some mornings all i need are words
\nwords to remind me
\nand words to bind me
\nwords to console and construct
\nmyths that lie just beyond
\ncognitive madcapery
\nwords that resemble outcomes
\ndangled, then deleted by the fates<\/p>\n

tick tock, click lock<\/p>\n

reconciled and re-appropriated
\nas time moves forward
\nand then back again
\nindirect and
\ncircling towards inconsistency<\/p>\n

distracted by
\nthe constant lure
\nand melodic purr
\nof this majestic cat
\nand subverted by
\nthe curse of my own inaction
\ntheses words and phrases
\nare played
\nand then betrayed
\nconsumed, slowed down
\nand rendered inert
\namong coffee stained keyboards
\nand half-hearted redirections<\/p>\n

swirling around
\nweary wards and
\nwhite paper days
\nwe sit on cold steps
\nwaiting for a western adventure
\nthe beginning is usually
\nthe same as the end
\nrarely anticipated
\nand often
\nunforgiven<\/p>\n

ohh how the gods love
\na reluctant fool<\/p>\n
