\nand signaled towards infinity
\nwith creative playlists
\nanother year passes
\nare we, closer to something new?<\/p>\n

inverted microphones
\nwith stones among bones
\nthe nights are long like knives
\npressed against
\nthe heart of the matter
\nand held hostage
\nto the substance of soul<\/p>\n

with serendipity, serpents surround
\nour sacrificial sanity
\nand under midnight skies
\nwe are mesmerized
\npainted with passion,
\nblood, and fury
\nas we populate the premise of
\npurgatory and prematurity
\nwith a pagan ritual of penance
\nin this perfect moment<\/p>\n

reluctance, as
\nmonday calls forth
\nanother wide beast
\nand the end always comes quicker,
\nquieter, than expected<\/p>\n

sagittarian streets are weathered

\nas winter slows the mind

lions wake in sudden exclamation
\nno coffee, no redemption
\nsorrow always grips me
\nin these early morning hours
\nso, reach out and touch

\nremember the miles of mishap
\nand pray for a more quiet mistake<\/p>\n

warlock, warlike
\nwith a warning louder than
\nthe wavelengths of wayward webcasts<\/p>\n

saviors and sideshow freaks
\npreach a mean technique
\nsaved and forgotten twice
\nas we roll the dice<\/p>\n

i remember a costume party
\nin the desert arcade
\nwith wandering cats
\nstaring down one another
\namidst private accolades
\nas maddened minstrels
