september scars
\ntraced on trails
\nof epileptic stars
\nnothing but dying words
\nin lead memoirs<\/p>\n

tying knots upon the earth
\nsilently waiting for a
\nradiant ripple of decadent rebirth<\/p>\n

it\u2019s magic motion
\nsupplied with
\nintensity and insanity
\npassion\u00a0 and greed
\nwith no measure of hope
\nwe continue this repetitive escapade
\nburning like wildfire at the base<\/p>\n

nature\u2019s bliss
\nunder the moon
\nof a summer solstice
\nhe beheld a kiss
\nand now in dark embrace
\nshe is remiss<\/p>\n

congregated in summer
\nand discarded in winter
\nempty black is
\nfilled with bitter red
\ntranscribed in
\nlimited rhymes
\nin honor of an unknown godhead<\/p>\n

foundations and false starts
\nchance connections like
\nabandoned buildings
\nchasing the secret of
\nsecular graffiti
\nonly to mislead and walk away<\/p>\n

armageddon\u2019s call
\nas the vicious circle widens
\nwitness to the fall
\nof of imagination and fear
\nand caught beneath an autumn thrall<\/p>\n

a touch to intense to rest
\nwrestled against fate\u2019s breast
\nit\u2019s a contest
\nimpressed, obsessed, and transgressed<\/p>\n

i\u2019ve tried so hard and failed
\ntime and time again, no remorse
\na mind curtailed
\nconversion of plans derailed
\na withered heart impaled<\/p>\n

cast out, outcast
\niconoclast
\nthe garden is plush with weeds
\nthe killers are bored
\nand the hustlers are planting seeds<\/p>\n

hammer the skies
\nwith passion we evangelize
\nancient times to return
\nsouth to the sour notes
\nof love departed and overturned<\/p>\n

reeking of desperation and
\nanticipation
\nwe are too fast and
\ntoo intense
\nlightning flashed amidst
\na grey summer rain\u2019s expense<\/p>\n

passion is glorious
\nbut in the end
\nthey always leave too soon
\nnothing lasts and
\neverything is created with
\nsubtle hints of decay
\nstyle chews on substance
\nas we run on empty and pray<\/p>\n

give me the word
\nunfinished and unheard
\nnever diminished
\nand perpetually conjured<\/p>\n

give me writers death
\nflush with hungry eyes
\nthat are ridden upon a rusty road
\nas players and fools duel upon
\na queen sized battlefield<\/p>\n

black rose soul
\nmoving in two directions at once
\nas the tower falls
\nhow many times must we rebuild
\nthese scattered stones<\/p>\n
