\nsolicitations,
\nmetered mutations
\neastern evolution
\nas a sardonic solution
\nand some days
\nare just better than others<\/p>\n

no wisdom in wine
\nemptied of the word
\ni watch as
\ncats are
\ncrawling, clawing,
\ncapitulating under the pull
\nof a full moon\u2019s dominance<\/p>\n

i\u2019m looking back to move forward
\nand i laugh because i am
\na self tortured soul
\nbeaten and half eaten
\nfor all the wrong reasons<\/p>\n

no page numbers
\ntired and expired
\nit\u2019s such a simple mess
\nand
\ni\u2019m living life
\nlike i used to
\nwhen i started
\nthis whole mad trip<\/p>\n

my field of vision is
\npainted and surreal
\ni\u2019m trolling and
\nrolling
\nin self-sustainable
\ngardens of heat
\nreaping rabid vials
\nof viral vagabonds<\/p>\n

as unidentified players
\nshuffle with disinherited intent
\nwide eyed and undefined
\nthey stare at abstract scenery
\nwondering when the action will begin<\/p>\n

i told her
\ndon\u2019t put me in the ground
\nburn me
\nand turn me
\ninto something new<\/p>\n

and suddenly
\ni don\u2019t want to be here
\ni want to be
\nsomewhere else
\nperhaps
\nnowhere else
\ndead, yet immortal
\nflowing through versus,
\noptic nerves, and brain synapses
\nrecreated in someone else\u2019s image
\nmake me a new conjuration
\nformulated from imagination
\nthe most human of elements<\/p>\n

i want someone to write me
\ninto a different tale
\none with
\nsex and sunsets
\neternal epithets
\nadoration
\nwith no abbreviation
\nswirling within temptation\u2019s pull<\/p>\n

i want to be passion
\ncrafted in anticipation
\nno hesitation
\nlate and out of fashion<\/p>\n

screams from the balcony
\nthe congregation is defiled
\nand waiting for something more
\nas the mad minister gestures
\ntoward the magic bullet of manifestation<\/p>\n

lights out
\nlast kiss
\npoetry as fuel
\nfor the fury inside
\nprofanity prophesied
\nand ruled in acute motion<\/p>\n

master of ceremonies,
\nconductor of chaos,
\ngrant us one sweet moment
\nof majestic awareness
\nto embrace the aroma of deep space<\/p>\n
