\nflight from
\na restricted flow<\/p>\n

altered narration
\nsuggested sedation
\nand selective information<\/p>\n

frustration
\nno chance for meditation
\nriding the tide
\nof impossible temptation
\ntoward an
\nother worldly vibration<\/p>\n

mechanical bats
\ncreeping on the backs
\nof sacred and secret rats
\npursued by a coven
\nof cloven cats
\nit’s a false start
\nabsence of art<\/p>\n

a secret villain
\nhiding in plain sight
\none channel off and
\nwe don\u2019t fear
\nwe lament, and repent
\npacing in the palace of exile
\nas flowers are scattered across the floor<\/p>\n

heavy anger charged in
\nsatin sacraments
\nand now the peasants are upon us<\/p>\n

cast out these medieval machinations
\nthat are worn softly on saturn’s shores
\nbecause reality is just a dream
\nthat most people refuse to wake from
\nand
\ni can\u2019t help think that
\nfate is just a spoiled child
\ntrailing a possession of conquered flesh
\nwith souls spinning half dead to themselves<\/p>\n

out of my element
\nand surrounded by
\nbodies circling
\nobjective desire
\ni hear
\ncracked voices
\nin search of madcap women
\nas tall men
\ndressed carelessly
\nwander aimlessly
\nwith eyes set to stun
\nthey impress and regress
\nhalf spun
\nstatic death in vanity
\nimage is everything<\/p>\n

observations
\ntoo many
\nconversations
\nwith myself
\nwhile
\ncompetition is laced with
\nsuspicion and doubt
\nand there\u2019s a certain
\nrepetition of words
\nthat resemble lives half lived<\/p>\n

without warning
\ncosmic forces intervened
\npsycho cycles
\niconic, impulsive, and redeemed
\nsteering morality towards
\nuncertain ends<\/p>\n

caught in the thrall of this
\npassive and temporary ecstasy
\nthought of as
\ninteresting only in
\nsecluded moments
\ni’ve got a rabid style
\nmapping a mystic mile
\nwith a complicated
\nand lucid smile<\/p>\n

neutral, passive, distant
\nand about to explode
\ni think i\u2019ll die for awhile
\nand wait for mystery
\nin the next rebirth<\/p>\n

constant concert with the tribe
\nlocked in a melancholic vibe
\nthere is a wealth of art
\nin the demise of this
\nsanitary sanity
\nso go now
\ngather the children
\nand teach them the art of power
\nstriking sabbatical beats
\nupon the heart of every hour<\/p>\n
