\nsun stage
\ndevour
\ndeep breaths
\nharmonized and holding
\nfervent intent
\ntables lined along the ocean\u2019s shore
\nas we join these faithless guests
\nwith the crashing of waves sung as folklore<\/p>\n

memories laced with
\nmarooned mantras
\npawning pennies
\nas thieves and junkies
\nlitter the causeway
\nthe same players are
\ngrifted at sunset bars, and
\ni smell a mixture of hot chocolate
\nrum and defeat<\/p>\n

drugstore
\nalways more
\nand set to explore
\ni deplore
\nthe underscore
\nin it\u2019s feigned metaphor<\/p>\n

abstract geometries, and
\nthe women are all hiding in trees
\nprimal sentries, waiting for
\nthe separation of primitive men<\/p>\n

prisons of the mind
\nheld on a dime
\npart-time turning into
\na demonic pastime
\nwaiting for a moment defined
\nis simply a waste of time<\/p>\n

hesitation
\ninvitation to something new
\nexpectation, limitation
\ninterpretation, taboo<\/p>\n

bare feet tattooed
\non the landscape of a distant summer
\ni glimpsed
\none loose thread
\ndangling with the temptation
\nof perilous manifestation
\nand pulled with dread<\/p>\n

fate fell asleep
\nfiltered backwards
\non fatigue
\nand there is no scarcity
\nthat is an illusion<\/p>\n

under the hazy morning sun
\ncoffee flows like eternal rivers
\ncats run in all directions
\nand messages are received
\nat the strangest times
\nit\u2019s cognitive erosion<\/p>\n

preparation
\ncomplication
\nthe number is twenty five and zero
\npsychotic configuration
\ndesperation
\nconceptual alliteration
\nof words loosely defined
\non the edge of a water stained map<\/p>\n

i was denied with a question
\nthe ritual was never completed
\nfeint actions stirred
\nfearful, tearful
\nwith hearts nearly depleted<\/p>\n

this deliberation of platonic scales
\nhas decimated dominate deceptions
\nand forced an initiation of the greater self<\/p>\n

it was then that i watched
\nstrangers kissing
\ninterplay of heartbeats
\nlinked like drums
\nrevealing the colors of passion
\nand there are
\nanimals, shaded
\nhiding in every soul
\nno longer jaded<\/p>\n

broken by the insanity of a yellow breeze
\nheroes and villains hesitate
\nthey meditate, mutate
\ngestate, and resuscitate
\nand what is born then is
\nglory in the grey<\/p>\n
