master is dead as<br \/>\ni cut the cords of this immortal dream<br \/>\nmemories flowing within a turbulent bloodstream<br \/>\nare burning distant pictures arcane<br \/>\nand dancing with ashes in the rain<\/p>\n<p>everyone dreams of war<br \/>\nas the alarm clocks\u2019<br \/>\nare set to four<br \/>\ncriss-crossed slippers<br \/>\nstalled by the front door<br \/>\nwith restless animals wandering<br \/>\nin a mild and scattered uproar<\/p>\n<p>i can barley breathe this morning<br \/>\nit\u2019s the beginning of another work week<br \/>\nwaiting slowly to draw me in<br \/>\nvibrating with a passive and troubled technique<\/p>\n<p>the madness of men is contained<br \/>\nin slick black cadillacs<br \/>\nthat sail down steamy highways<br \/>\nalways approaching an infinite sunset<br \/>\npassing sneaky dogs<br \/>\nthat crawl under fences<br \/>\nand former lovers<br \/>\nthat viciously disrupt the senses<\/p>\n<p>goddamn, the song is not so easily forgotten<br \/>\nhow many times has it played in reverse<br \/>\nsearching for the perfect form to function<\/p>\n<p>how sad that there\u2019s always<br \/>\nan end in sight, frozen<br \/>\none that\u2019s consistently chosen<br \/>\ncreated and maintained with<br \/>\nfear and illusions of a pessimistic demise<\/p>\n<p>i watch metal illness<br \/>\ndistilled into a tall can of beer<br \/>\ncostumed consumed and entombed<br \/>\nwithin a weekend escape<br \/>\nnature, speaks the mother<br \/>\nnurturing innocent beasts<br \/>\nhope for a fragile psyche<br \/>\nconstantly under construction<br \/>\ndemolished and hastily rebuilt to repeat<\/p>\n<p>karma has locked me on a unit<br \/>\nof limited imagination<br \/>\nas these dominant creatures<br \/>\nseek to force my resignation<\/p>\n<p>how many more nights<br \/>\ncan these fantasies take flight<\/p>\n<p>and there you are<br \/>\nkneeling before a distorted god<br \/>\nwatching an unholy mascot<br \/>\nas coffee is served by<br \/>\na dissident crackpot<br \/>\nstumbling with loss<br \/>\nas an afterthought<br \/>\nhow long will you continue to shuffle<br \/>\ntowards an uncertain version of camelot<\/p>\n<p><a
