\nout of my soul
\nand into your eyes
\nrestrain them
\nwith moonbeams
\ninternal temperance
\nand subtle extremes
\ni can\u2019t decide if
\ntoo much time has passed
\nor not enough
\nperhaps it\u2019s time
\nfor pause
\nwith an eviction
\nof this uncertain clause<\/p>\n

with a persistence that will never wane
\ni hope that someday you will see
\ni\u2019ve always been here
\ntruth doesn\u2019t die it just hides
\nand i\u2019m waiting for the spark
\nthat will melt away
\nthe mask of
\nunnecessary protection
\nyou wear<\/p>\n

planetary covens
\nblooming with distorted beacons
\nof absurd necessity
\nbroadcasting static absolutes
\nand shields of an oppressed mindset<\/p>\n

i felt your avoidance
\nheld within useless complication
\nand the sundown of imperfection
\nit steers you towards
\nanother temporary execution
\nof pure feeling
\nan onlooker dissenting the self
\nthough cautious and mindful you may be
\nfear not that which lies within<\/p>\n

for i\u2019ve permitted you entrance
\nto the temple of my sacred heart
\nat it\u2019s center lies
\nthe perfect visage
\nof my astrological counterpart<\/p>\n

beauty bathed in a midnight fire
\nand burning past the illusion of one
\nonce tapped and now raging
\nheld out involuntarily
\nit was summoned from
\nfar below the surface
\nwarring waiting
\nfor a time when we will be joined again
\nall doubts in comfort negating<\/p>\n

so with love and wisdom
\nin quiet distance
\ni do impart
\nmemories and dreams rekindled
\nseek not to depart
\nas this beast of change is cultivated
\nand embraced in new art<\/p>\n

patience is bred with destruction
\nas acceptance falls into renewal<\/p>\n

the phoenix calls it’s mindful mate
\ncan you hear?<\/p>\n
