take a chance
\nfollowing the midnight procession
\nhearts in a tangled dance
\nrevealing spiritual bodies of obsession<\/p>\n

i wrote
\nroadmaps leading to nowhere
\nand across the street
\nlie temples
\ntrampled and incomplete<\/p>\n

short order books
\nand left handed cooks
\npen an paper
\nlike sword and shield<\/p>\n

there were
\nthree words spoken
\nin quiet warmth
\nas destiny crashed
\nagainst an inanimate walls<\/p>\n

transitions and decisions
\nit was a lifestyle unfamiliar
\nand well met
\nkilling each other\u2019s fears
\nit was then that i glimpsed eternity<\/p>\n

we stumbled around this
\nknotted circus
\nfor what seemed like ages
\nwith an honest connection
\nunlocking our cages<\/p>\n

circling around bonfires
\nof slowly changing souls
\nand gardening galaxies
\nwith hastily refined tools
\nbut like summer fools
\nwe cradled false festivities
\nand the chance for
\na different tomorrow<\/p>\n

art in defense of
\nsubtle differences
\nwith doubts
\nand bouts
\nof anxiety
\nunspoken conversations
\nand impropriety
\nspread like wings
\non a bird of prey<\/p>\n

stacking smiles upon lies
\nit\u2019s theft by infinite design
\nand in calamity
\ni\u2019ve found no order
\nperhaps it was just chaos from the start<\/p>\n

scandals and
\ndripping red candles
\ni\u2019ve found no recourse
\nonly curses
\nwithin these verses<\/p>\n

one last kiss unremembered
\nyet eternally haunted
\ndespite this complicated ritual
\nthe new moon is just a smile
\nseeking to exile
\nlove that will always linger and
\ndreams that will never forget<\/p>\n
