\nmaybe just one letter
\nwas off<\/p>\n

always waiting
\nenergies pulsating
\nunderrated and forbidden
\nwith no compensation<\/p>\n

down
\nand
\njust around
\nthe corner
\nmystery lies in heat
\nand i feel the need to beat
\nthis sacrificial meat<\/p>\n

vain and notorious
\nperhaps on the side
\na little glorious
\nthese myths always seem to fade into legend<\/p>\n

we spend so many years
\ncutting, scraping
\ntowards something new
\nenhanced
\nand not so blue<\/p>\n

with visions of great things to come
\nhow easily we are undone
\nby words lurking inside
\nfuck this she said
\ni\u2019ll just run and hide<\/p>\n

the matrix doesn\u2019t care
\nnor does it
\nshare
\nvital secrets<\/p>\n

tired
\ntired of
\nbeing serious
\ntired of
\nbeing strong
\ntired of all this weakness
\ni\u2019ve forgotten how to play that song<\/p>\n

they want to burn me
\nturn me
\naccused
\nabused and
\nreused
\nfuck them
\ni\u2019ve faithfully
\nrefused<\/p>\n

hollow eyes reflect
\nall those seeking to infect
\ncollect, reject
\ni\u2019m quick to disconnect<\/p>\n

dancing with a pocket full of
\nnickels and dimes
\nso little reason
\nyet intent on these rhymes<\/p>\n

with road trips remembered
\nand holy ghosts dismembered<\/p>\n

these men burn out too quick
\nand these women drive you to madness<\/p>\n

yet in the end
\nthis train only has
\none direction
\nforever forward<\/p>\n
