\nhow it\u2019s delivered
\nrendered in time
\nthe rest
\nis just filler
\nfor\u00a0 moments between the sheets
\nstop, go, an infinite killer<\/p>\n

dreams within dreams
\na telepathy of strange coincidence
\ndull colors
\non a porch filled with glass<\/p>\n

i won\u2019t forget
\nthe hard times
\nthey\u2019re what shape us
\nand drive us to
\nthe next destination<\/p>\n

and now
\nis this it
\nthe one
\nthe big hit
\nit has to be good
\nbreaking free of this furious circle
\nno longer misunderstood<\/p>\n

captured and contained
\nunshaven in this subtle haven
\ngods help us to remember
\nthe passion and the glory<\/p>\n

because they\u2019re
\nconstantly moving in
\nfrom all sides
\nthese heartless men
\nand empty women
\nhard yet tamed
\nas they drift and drag
\nsuch soft easy creatures<\/p>\n

with ornate incantations
\ni dispel them<\/p>\n

i have something
\ni\u2019ve been working on
\nfor some time now
\nthough, i\u2019m not quite sure
\nwhat exactly it is<\/p>\n

watching waiting
\non a bench or in a dream
\nas birds whisper on the wind
\nwith no foresight
\nundisciplined<\/p>\n

my friend says
\nuse these words as a weapon
\nand so i do
\nit\u2019s hard to resist<\/p>\n

stopped and dropped
\nin an immaculate pose
\nand speaking in bad metaphors
\nbecause it\u2019s easier to express
\na disturbed and lazy mind<\/p>\n

we all need that one thing
\nwild dangerous free
\nhelping to create the god-king<\/p>\n

all life revolves around
\na sphere of noise vs quiet
\nthe switch is flipped
\nas we seek to encrypt
\nthis deadly riot<\/p>\n

there are two worlds
\ntwo minds
\ntwo beings
\nand two vibes<\/p>\n

it\u2019s the last line that\u2019ll kill ya<\/p>\n
