stick to what you’re good at
\nand don’t stray
\nembrace the old order
\npray<\/p>\n

that\u2019s what they want you to believe
\nbut I know
\nit\u2019s all coming apart at the seams
\nwith a violent synchronicity
\ni hear a million silent screams<\/p>\n

manipulated it\u2019s a
\nmomentary mindset
\nand we are
\nintroduced to a mild form of relief
\nat the final moment of desperation
\nanxiety, release
\nevaporation<\/p>\n

yet we push on
\nforced to continue
\nbecause
\nthis world is a collective hallucination
\nfilled with medicated visions
\nand assassination<\/p>\n

beware
\nthe false gods are
\neverywhere
\nthe enforcers
\nthe whores
\ncrawling in scores
\nin league with men who stare at flames
\nflashes, flagged and saved for later use
\nquietly plotting endgames<\/p>\n

all realities are
\nsimulations of a god mind
\ncontrolled moments of ecstasy and terror
\nand time is not what it seems
\na playlist set to repeat
\noccasionally skipping a beat
\nnothing in this life is real
\nexcept the touch of cold steel<\/p>\n

but there\u2019s a momentum out there
\nbeautiful chaos
\nin a sea of conformity
\ndisrupted ethos
\na system deformity<\/p>\n

random images, sounds
\nwith memories that leak
\nin distorted fashion
\nthis awareness is
\nslowly gaining ground<\/p>\n

i feel like this could become something more
\ni feel like we could
\ntear the veil
\nand
\nswim for shore<\/p>\n

will you
\ncorrupt the code
\nwill you
\ntake my hand
\nsmash the machine, overload
\nand escape this dreamland<\/p>\n
